Description:
The Pour:
This beer pours as a light golden brown colour, the head that froths up and stays only for a minute or two at most, leaving a very light trace on the surface. As standard I poured the first half of the beer with the glass at 45o, and then poured the rest in at 90o to try and generate a decent head without overflowing the glass.

The Taste:
The first major thing that you get to taste from this light larger, (when I say light I am talking about, not the amount of calories it contains but light as opposed to heavy like a stout), as with most mass produced lagers is the malted barley with a slightly bitter after taste from the hops. The 4.8% alcohol content is hardly noticeable; I think I detected just the slightest hint of what seemed to me to be citrus, possible lime, apart from this there is not much else for a beer enthusiast.
Accompanying Food:
This beer would go well with most types of Indian foods, I have had this lager with madras on occasion and would have to say that it work well with the spiciness that a lot of Indian foods seem to have.
Recommended:
Yes, but only in an Indian restaurant situation as this beer does do particularly well at accompanying Indian foods, just don’t be expecting anything to great. I would not buy this beer to drink while out otherwise, there are many much better beers out there.
