This beer like a lot of lagers pours a clear light golden straw brown. There is a constant stream of carbonation rising from the bottom of the glass this continues throughout the glass of beer. The head is decent as you would expect from a beer which has a high carbonation factor, but this head does not last as long as you would expect considering the amount of carbonation there is. What little head that remains covers the surface, but does not provide enough to give any sort of lacing down the glass. I poured this beer in my standard manor that is glass at 45o until slightly more than half the bottle has being poured then straighten the glass up and pour the rest of the bottle in from a slightly elevated height to try and raise a head

Description:
The Pour:
The Nose:
There are no real overpowering smells to be found in this beer, the first thing that you get when you first give this beer a sniff is a touch of that white bread smell that comes from the yeast, along with a hint from the malt barely, corn and rice combination. There is no detectable smell from the alcohol level contained in the beer. There are some soluble hints from the hops within this beer, but they are hard to spot.
The Taste:
The taste of Asahi Super “Dry” like Duval from last week, the first thing that you get upon tasting is the hit from the high carbonation level in this beer. After this you get a hit from the hops which give a not unpleasant sourness, this combined with the mixture of the malt barely, corn and rice is about all that you can expect from this simple but tasty beer, the finish contains a slight touch of what might be citrus lime flavour.
Accompanying Food:
Asahi Super “Dry” would I my opinion be suitable for accompanying many different types of food, from steak, chicken, fish to the humble if slightly spicy chilli sausage .
Recommended:
I would recommend this beer to others, while not the most complex tasting beer on the market; it still has its place. This beer would definitely suit the larger drinker as it has a lot in common with a lot of the mass produced easily sources beers i.e. Budweiser etc.
